I just woke up a little while ago. Today is my mom’s surgery and I am praying everything goes well so we can all enjoy our Christmas. I need to get out of bed and go study for my math final. I wish everyone would be a little more positive,
especially this time of year. My mother’s getting surgery tomorrow and I’m scared to pieces. A family in Seekonk just lost their youngest son. A family in Attleboro has to spend their first Christmas without their son this year. Attleboro kids “liking” the Jake Mayo remembrance pages and I know they didn’t know him. It’s not your place to do that. You can feel bad, I certainly do, but I’m not going to pretend I knew someone just because they’ve passed away.

I didn’t know him but it still puts me in tears to read about death of such young people with so much life ahead of them. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain his family, friends, and loving girlfriend of one year can be experiencing right now. My prayers are with them all. Rest in peace Jacob Mayo.

Yesterday I hung out with Matt for a little. We did some Christmas shopping for his family which was nice. I feel like he got a lot done. He’s really generous. Last night after a very successful Christmas party with some great girls I went back to Kaitlyn’s with her and Kelsey.
