Anonymous asked: I don't mean to sound rude... but how do you manage to afford all your designer items (Prada sunglasses, TONS of Jeffrey Campbells) and so many different articles of clothing while just working at a retail store? I work a minimum wage job and I would love to be able to look as classy as you constantly do, but I have no idea how you afford it. tips? secrets?

I don’t have as many designer items as people think. My Prada sunglasses, Marc Jacobs bag, and YSL ring are really the only high end pieces I own. I used to work two retail jobs (getting paid higher than minimum wage at each) and I was spending almost all my money on clothes. Right now, I am only working one and struggling (which is why I am looking for another). Some of the items I have (including multiple Jeffrey Campbells) were gifts or bought with Birthday money. I really should not be giving any money advice because I have a serious shopping problem and I need to start saving and stop spending so much!

The only tips I can give you are to limit your cheap purchases if you want to buy something more high end or better quality. For example instead of buying 5 pairs of shoes from Target in six months use that $100-150 dollars on a pair of Jeffrey Campbells (or whatever shoes, bag, etc. of your choice). I think that jeans, shoes and jackets are three things that people should be open to splurging on. The more money you spend on them the better quality they tend to be, the longer they last you, and the more unique they are.

Although, you don’t have to spend a lot of money on clothes to look “classy” or stylish in any way. Most of my trendy tops come from Forever 21 and H&M and websites like GoJane and Lulus have great deals on trendy pieces and designer look alikes.

I hope this helped or answered your question at least a little.

PS. Thank you so much for the compliment :)
